Wow, time really flies when you're having fun, I suppose. I had a lot of fun in the studio last night. And how could you not, when there are massive flames in the next room?

That's a glaze firing in there. The one I said was supposed to be done on Thursday? Yup. That's the one. Anyway. I threw four pieces last night, and just realized that I only took pics of three of them. Oh well. Here are the bowls:

And I threw two cups, both of which look like this:

The other one, which I didn't photograph, is just taller. It also, I discovered when I took it off the wheel, leans more to one side. The studio is closing for fall break, so there won't be any class next week. I'll still go in, though, to collect the finished pieces that are currently cooling down in the kiln. I'm particularly excited to see how the
eye bowl turns out. Hopefully it does, because I think it will be a great conversation piece!
