Off the Hump

So last week I managed to throw two things off the hump:

The bottle on the left got turned into a cruet when I put a pinched-circle handle on it. I'll get a picture of that next week.

I threw this with the remaining hump. Nothing exciting. These are all pre-trimming.

I really like the recycled clay with DV and DP mixed. It's a good combination. This little guy will probably get handles, though I'll have to make them out of something other than the mix because this was the last of it.

I went back to Long Beach Medium (LBM) yesterday. I want to get height out of the clay, and stonewear is the way to go for that. I chose LBM because DV makes a mess. I threw what was supposed to be a pitcher, but I opened too soon (because I have what some would call a "patience problem") and was off center so I had to keep cutting off the rim to make it even (frustrating, but serves me right, right?). I still put a pouring spout on it, and I'll attach a handle next week, so it will be a somewhat largish gravy boat.
